FAQ

Questions about pricing

What does IMECore cost?

It depends on your case volume and which pieces you need, so we quote rather than list. Tell us roughly how many cases you close in a month and we will send a figure. There is no implementation fee and no per-seat charge.

Why price per case instead of per seat?

Because a seat licence punishes you for giving access to the people who need it. Coordinators, reviewers, finance staff, examiners, and referrers all touch a case. Charging for each one pushes firms to share logins, which breaks the audit trail. Per case aligns what you pay with the work you did.

What counts as a closed case?

A case where a report was released, or where the referral was formally cancelled after an examiner was assigned. A referral you decline at intake is free.

Is there an implementation fee?

No. Comparable vendors in adjacent markets charge five figures to onboard. We do not.

Do you charge for storage?

No. Records storage is included. We would rather you keep the whole file than trim it to save money.

What does an IME cost the payer, for comparison?

A standard specialist IME in British Columbia runs $3,000 to $6,000. A psychiatric or neurological IME runs $4,000 to $8,000 or more. Sources: a BC legal directory guide and the Doctors of BC fee guide for uninsured services, 2024. Our free IME cost estimator works the number through by province and specialty.

Can we cancel?

Yes, monthly. Export your cases, your records index, your reports, and your audit log at any time.

Do you sell or train on our case data?

No. Customer case data is never sold and is never used to train a general model. The trust page sets out exactly which subprocessors can touch it.
