What is the difference between a SABS IE and an ICBC IME?
Ontario accident benefits use insurer examinations under the SABS, overseen by FSRA. BC auto injury assessments run through ICBC. IMECore applies the template for the regime on the case.
Which records does an accident-benefits examination need?
The collision report, ambulance and emergency records, family-doctor notes, physiotherapy, and imaging. Prior claims matter when causation is in dispute.
What happens if the claimant does not attend?
The case records the notice you sent and the cancellation window. The invoice applies your agreed no-show fee, with that notice attached.
Can we run SABS and ICBC files in the same workspace?
